Hi, I'm Lana!

Hello! I’m Lana Farah, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #21594) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC #11248602) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling and Psychology from Yorkville University and have completed additional post-graduate training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), Ego States, DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), EFFT (Emotionally Focused Family Therapy), and SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy). I’m also trained in Gottman couple Therapy . My experience includes working with children aged 10 and up, as well as adults from diverse backgrounds, including immigrants and Indigenous communities.

In my practice, I aim to foster a safe and welcoming environment where humor can ease the journey. I use a holistic approach, integrating various techniques to address both symptoms and root causes.

Outside of work, I’m a mother to two teenagers. I treasure our time together, whether we’re hiking, swimming, dancing, or simply relaxing at home.

Life can be tough, but you don’t have to navigate it alone—I’m here to listen and support you through the challenges.
